Norautron sends home 24 workers temporarily
Lower order intake forces Norway based EMS-provider Norautron to send 24 workers on temporary leave from the Horten plant.
Norautron AS CEO Øyvind Sedivysaid last month already that the order volume is lower than usual, especially among customers that purchases for about 10-20 million Norwegian krona per year. This customer group is also affected by the global financial crisis. However the larger customers at the plant are still doing well, Øyvind Sedivysaid said. He hopes the 24 employees can come back to their jobs in the spring next year.
