Sanmina-SCI lays off 110 in USA

Sanmina-SCI laid off 110 staff at their PCB facility in Owego, New York.

Sanmina-SCI Chairman and CEO Jure Sola stated in last month's fiscal report that there would not be any major restructuring next year. The lay offs did not - however - trigger a so called WARN notification. The EMS-provider would have needed to lay off 1/3 of its facility work force, reports the presscontacts.
