Flextronics lays off 70 in Taiwan
EMS provider Flextronics has laid off approximately 70 people at its Taiwan office.
The reason for the lays off is reportedly the declining global economy. Most of the employees that have been laid off are from Flextronics recently acquired notebook and server businesses, said Digitimes. According to the report a further cutback is expected in the near future.
