ZF Hungária invest €100 million

ZF expects a €100 million investment in its production facility in Eger, Hungary.

This is aimed to increase the turnover of the Hungarian unit to about €300 million by 2010. For this year, the subsidiary aims to reach sales of about €205 million, said Ulrich Diler, CEO of ZF Hungária in Eger, reports bbj. ZF Hungária plans to increase its staff numbers – during this period – from currently 900 to 1000. Additional to that, the unit plans to increase the capacities of the assembly hall (from 4000 to 5500 sqm) and the production hall (from 5000 to 15000 sqm). Finally, a 7500-square-metre warehouse will be build and the installation of a new computerised system for quality control is also planned, the report goes on.
