Samsung opens LCD plant in Russia
Samsung has today opened its first LCD and plasma TV plant in Russia.
The plant will be located in the Kaluga Region, Russia and is estimated to produce 1.7 million units in 2009, 2.4 million in 2010 and 2.8 million in 2011 of LCD and plasma television sets, according to RB. The total investment sum for this plant is said to be worth $137 million.
