Major investments at EC
UK based EMS provider EC has made some major investments at its UK plant in Basingstoke.
Within the investment plan, the company has installed a new SMT line, a computer controlled carousel system to improve kitting accuracy and speed, as well as a mezzanine floor at its facility in Basingstoke. The SMT is a Philips/Assembleon and has been installed at the plant. EC believes that this new equipment will enable the company to attract new clients.
