Stable EMS/OEM market in Germany

According to ZVEI the turnover was up by 0.3 percent in the first quarter of 2008 over the previous quarter, however orders decreased by 2.2 percent. The book-to-bill ratio is estimated to a value of 1.07, the order intake was seven percent higher than sales. The export share of the reporting firms is around 20 percent. The number of employees in the industry, compared to the previous quarter has increased by 1.6 percent. The future is assessed as stable, said ZVEI.
