Seica to launch new flying prober
Seica SpA, the Italian based equipment maker, presents a new flying prober Pilot V8 at this years SMT-Show in Nuremberg, Germany.
The Pilot V8 offers a new vertical architecture, which enables high speed and precision probing on both sides of the UUT simultaneously.
The new prober is equipped with 8 electrical flying test probes (four on each side), 2 Openfix capacitive and 2 power flying probes and an additional 2 CCD cameras, one on each side respectively.
The PILOT V8 is based on the Seica VIP platform with its VIVA software, which optimises test-program development time, execution test time and fault coverage, guiding the user through a series of automated operations in an intuitive, self-explanatory environment, drastically reducing programming time and practically eliminating the possibility for error and omissions.
