The segment consumer products grew slightly faster than the market in general. However this market segment stands for only 6% of the entire Russian production. According to the publishing house Pilot experts, the consumer electronics market in Russia could grow by a staggering 100% in 2008, Cnews reports. The electronics segment showed a 30% increase in 2007, 21.7% in 2006 and 19% in 2005. However, market growth is impossible without the development of its own consumer electronics.
