Motorola to cut over 10 000 staff

That would total the global lay-offs to more than 10 000. The mobile phone maker, had already announced the discontinuation of 3 500 jobs, followed by the announcement in March that a further 4 000 jobs would be lost. The cutbacks will affect all business segments.
