Aviza sells off ET Equipment to ETEQ

Aviza, a supplier of advanced semiconductor capital equipment and process technologies, has sold ET Equipment, its machine shop operation located in Cwmfelin-fach, UK to ETEQ. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. "The machine shop operation is not part of Aviza's core area of expertise and no longer contributes to the company's current strategy to focus on the development and manufacturing of advanced semiconductor equipment and process technologies," said Jerry Cutini, President and CEO of Aviza Technology.
