Honeywell acquires AV Digital
Honeywell has acquired Germany based Digital Audio-Videotechnik, a privately managed company for complex acoustic irradiation and voice alert systems.
The acquisition has received authority approval on March 7.
AV Digital develops and manufactures a wide range of highly specialised acoustic irradiation and voice alert systems, such as security systems that will warn people of apparent dangers via speech alert.
The acoustic irradiation systems allow the broadcasting of announcements and instructions for the safety and rescue of endangered people, as well as means of communication for rescue workers.
The acquisition of AV Digital allows Honeywell to improve its portfolio of fire alert and communication systems together with AV Digital voice alert systems.
The companies headquarter is in Vienna/ Austria.
