Avex invest in Slovak plant

Slovakian based EMS provider Avex plans to invest into its new plant in Senec, Slovakia.

The company plans to expand the production, to build new premises and invest into new technologies. Avex will invest € approximately 20 million in the Senec plant. The number of employees is expected to increase three times, the company currently employs 600 people, Etrend reports. The plant will provide deliveries to its major customers which will be in the area Sony and Samsung. Avex was founded in 1987 as a joint venture between Tesla and Philips. In the nineties Tesla was going bankrupt and the Dutch company left Avex. J. Orsuliak decided to start on his own. With two partners he founded S-Avex.
