Axcelis ships multiple systems to North American analog chipmaker
Axcelis Technologies says it will make multiple shipments of the company's PurionH high current and PurionXE high energy implanters to an unnamed analog chip manufacturer in North America.
These systems are part of a series of multi-year, multi-system purchase orders to support the chipmaker's rapidly expanding device manufacturing capabilities.
