Murata expands with new production building in Thailand

The company says that the new production building will provide the infrastructure necessary to respond to growing demand for multilayer ceramic capacitors in a medium- to long-term capacity. The two story building will offer the company a total floor area of 80,950 square metres once completed. The company states in an update that it currently expect to complete the construction of the new production building in March 2023. Murata is investing a total of JPY 12 billion (EUR 92.3 million) in the building alone.
