WiLAN subsidiary acquires patent portfolio from IBM
Wi-LAN, a Quarterhill company, today announced that WiLAN's wholly-owned subsidiary, Elpis Technologies Inc., has acquired a portfolio of patents from International Business Machines Corporation (IBM).
The acquired patents, which are not described in detail, relate to semiconductor manufacturing process technologies. All other terms of the agreement are confidential.
