Linear Technology wants to take electric vehicle battery technologies to the next level
Linear - along side its partners - demonstrated its wireless automotive battery management system (BMS) concept car at Electronica. This is in short a combination of Linear’s battery stack monitors with its SmartMesh wireless mesh networking products in a BMW i3, replacing traditional wired connections between the battery packs and the management system.
