GES to invest in Macedonia

200 new job positions will open in Macedonia, as German Electro-Mechatronic Systems (GES) signed an investment agreement with the Macedonian government.

The company will invest EUR 15 million into a 15'000m2 manufacturing facility and administrative building in DTIDZ Bunardzik. The facility will produce solar panels and LED fixtures. Construction work is scheduled for the end of February / beginning of March 2016, while the production start is planned for the end of 2016. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Foreign Investments Bill Pavleski and Ahmed Elshaer (GES). Also present were Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and the Vice Prime Minister Economy Vladimir Peshevski.
