The agreement establishes a structured framework for identifying, assessing, and evaluating new investment projects in Italy, bringing together the country’s industrial development priorities with the technological capabilities and growth strategy of the Japanese industrial gases and healthcare company.
A key focus of the collaboration is the development of new production capabilities in Italy for high-technology sectors, including the semiconductor and electronics value chains. Beyond serving the domestic market, these initiatives are intended to support growing demand across Europe, the press release said.
“This agreement enables us to look with even greater ambition at the opportunities arising from closer collaboration between Italy and Japan in the electronics and semiconductor sectors, also thanks to the investments already made by the Group in Italy,” said Eduina Marino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nippon Sanso in Italy.
