Arianespace, EnduroSat to enhance European space sovereignty
Under the MoU, Arianespace and EnduroSat intend to build a long-term partnership offering an integrated European value chain spanning launch services, satellite deployment and in-orbit operations.
French company Arianespace and Bulgarian satellite manufacturer EnduroSat have signed an MoU to strengthen their cooperation and support European space sovereignty by combining their European capabilities in satellite deployment and in-orbit operations with Europe’s leading launch services.
Under the MoU, Arianespace and EnduroSat intend to build a long-term partnership offering an integrated European value chain spanning launch services, satellite deployment and in-orbit operations. The partnership will primarily support European institutional missions, while also serving commercial customers, helping to ensure Europe has reliable, independent and strategic access to space, Arianespace said in a press release.
The agreement includes plans by EnduroSat to book Arianespace launch services from 2029.
EnduroSat also intends to use Arianespace launch services to deploy its customers’ satellite fleets aboard Ariane 64, primarily for European institutional and commercial missions.
This cooperation would combine EnduroSat’s expertise in the design, deployment and operation of satellite missions with Arianespace’s ability to provide reliable, high-performance European launch solutions, the press release said.
