NanoBridge adopts Siemens’ Precision FPGA Synthesis

NanoBridge Semiconductor will provide its customers with a version of Precision FPGA Synthesis tuned for its NBS6503H and NBS1201 FPGA device families, helping designers achieve high-quality synthesis results while supporting efficient implementation workflows.

Siemens has announced that NanoBridge Semiconductor, a Japanese semiconductor company developing low-power and harsh-environment semiconductor technologies, has adopted Siemens’ Precision FPGA Synthesis for its field-programmable gate array (FPGA) development initiatives.

Through an OEM agreement, NanoBridge Semiconductor will provide its customers with a version of Precision FPGA Synthesis tuned for its NBS6503H and NBS1201 FPGA device families, helping designers achieve high-quality synthesis results while supporting efficient implementation workflows, Siemens said.

“NanoBridge Semiconductor is focused on advancing low-power and harsh-environment semiconductor technologies for aerospace, automotive and critical infrastructure,” said Toshitsugu Sakamoto, co-founder and chief technology officer, NanoBridge Semiconductor, Inc. “Our adoption of Siemens' Precision FPGA Synthesis enables us to provide our customers with a synthesis flow tailored for our FPGA device families while continuing to expand the ecosystem supporting our technologies.”

NanoBridge develops non-volatile FPGA and memory technologies based on its proprietary NanoBridge technology.

“Our collaboration with NanoBridge Semiconductor to bring the power of Precision FPGA Synthesis to its customers and provide a flow optimized for its FPGA device families demonstrates how Siemens' technology can help semiconductor innovators accelerate development, reduce complexity and bring advanced products to market with confidence,” said Yukio Tsuchida, vice president for Siemens EDA, Japan, Siemens Digital Industries Software.
