Phison opens first European entity in Germany, appoints regional leadership
Taiwanese NAND flash controller and storage solutions provider Phison Electronics has opened its first local entity in Europe, Phison Electronics Europe GmbH, headquartered in Eschborn, Germany. The company has appointed Ingvar Ersson as GM and President EMEA and Antony Zukowski as Regional Director EMEA.
The European entity will focus on direct enterprise engagement alongside a network of distributors, system integrators and strategic partners, with initial priority given to AI, hyperscale, HPC and enterprise opportunities. The expansion is designed to bring localised sales, technical and marketing support closer to European customers, according to a press release from Phison.
Ersson brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience in data storage, including senior roles at JOLT Energy and Verbatim EUMEA. Zukowski joins with a background in enterprise infrastructure and partner ecosystem development, having held roles at TD SYNNEX, Arrow ECS France and several other technology distributors.
