GigaDevice boosts market reach in EMEA and Southeast Asia with Rutronik
Chinese semiconductor manufacturer GigaDevice has signed a strategic franchise partnership with German distributor Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente, covering EMEA and Southeast Asia, including India. The agreement gives customers broader access to GigaDevice's microcontroller, sensor and power management portfolio.
The partnership centres on GigaDevice's GD32 microcontroller family, based on Arm Cortex-M and RISC-V architectures, which spans entry-level, mainstream and high-performance variants for applications ranging from cost-effective standard tasks to computationally intensive real-time systems. Target markets include industrial, automotive, energy, communications, consumer electronics and IoT, according to a press release from the company.
