Molex breaks ground on headquarters expansion in Illinois
Molex has held a groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of an expansion and renovation of its global headquarters campus in Lisle, Illinois, in the United States. The project is expected to be completed in December 2027.
The expansion adds approximately 15,000 square feet to the existing 350,000 square foot campus, alongside an adjacent property acquisition that brings an additional 80,000 square feet of office and lab space – capacity for approximately 300 to 400 additional employees.
The project includes a new conference centre seating more than 300 people, an expanded cafeteria and renovations to existing campus buildings, according to a press release from the company.
"These major improvements to our headquarters campus will enhance the employee experience and are reflective of the collaboration, growth and innovation taking place at our company every day," said Joe Nelligan, CEO of Molex.
