BSH opens new 73,000 sqm factory in Poland

German home appliance manufacturer BSH has started production at a new factory in Rudna Wielka outside Rzeszów, Poland. The facility, built by Panattoni, spans 73,000 square meters and consolidates all of BSH’s Rzeszów operations under one roof. The total investment amounts to nearly 600 million Polish zloty, around SEK 1.5 billion. The new factory produces small household appliances—including Bosch Unlimited cordless, bagless, and washable vacuum cleaners, as well as capsule coffee machines. BSH has also announced that production of a new platform for espresso machines will begin at the facility next year. According to a press release from Panattoni, the factory replaces a smaller nearby facility and brings together production, warehousing, and offices. BSH has operated in Poland for 33 years and currently employs nearly 8,000 people across six factories, logistics centers, two R&D centers, and service centers in Łódź, Wrocław, and Rzeszów. Total investment in Poland exceeds €1.5 billion.
