From PCB to photonics: Łukasiewicz opens new lab

The new Laboratory of Printed Circuits and Electronic Assembly commenced operations on May 29, 2026, in Warsaw. The investment, carried out by Łukasiewicz – the Institute of Tele- and Radiotechnics, is designed to support the development of modern electronic technologies, including advanced printed circuits and the integration of microelectronics and photonics. The cost of launching the facility is approximately PLN 25.5 million. The new laboratory will serve as a research and development hub for designing, prototyping, and manufacturing advanced printed circuits and electronics intended for applications requiring high reliability. The facility was established as part of the Microelectronics and Photonics Competence Center project, funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan
