Auterion Airlogix with AI-controlled strike system contract

Germany has signed a cooperation agreement with Ukraine, enabling the joint venture Auterion Airlogix Joint Venture GmbH to execute its first production contract for thousands of heavy, medium-range, AI-controlled autonomous strike systems. The contract covers German-made unmanned aerial systems with X-wing and delta-wing designs, intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to a press release, this is Germany's largest production order to date for heavy autonomous strike drones. The agreement transforms what was announced in February 2026 into funded, industrial-scale production (thousands of systems annually) from German assembly lines. This is mass-produced ammunition, designed for contested environments without GPS access, built on combat-proven Ukrainian airframes, and equipped with battle-tested Auterion AI guidance, autonomous navigation, and electronic warfare resilience software.
