Inission Lohja upgrades production with new equipment

Contract manufacturer Inission has upgraded its production facility in Lohja, Finland, with new dispensing and inspection equipment delivered by SMT Renting. The installation includes a Desen Precision Q600L, which replaces an older jet printer. The new system is designed to enable more precise application of solder paste and adhesive, with improved accuracy across a wider range of dot sizes, according to a LinkedIn update from SMT Renting. Additionally, an X-ray inspection system has been installed to enhance quality assurance and process control in production. X-ray inspection is used, among other things, to verify hidden solder joints and complex constructions where traditional optical methods are insufficient
