YMTC plans major capacity expansion with new factories

Chinese memory manufacturer Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) plans to build two additional factories beyond one facility nearing completion. The investment would more than double the company's production capacity, according to information given to Reuters. When fully built, the three new plants are each expected to reach a capacity of about 100,000 wafers per month, sources with insight told Reuters.
