Space internet" from Polish scientists

A team of scientists from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with OrbitsIQ Global and the European Space Agency (ESA), has developed a solution that significantly increases the efficiency of satellite communication. This technology can improve data transmission from millions of IoT devices worldwide. The growing number of IoT devices overloads satellite systems, causing collisions and data loss when many transmit simultaneously, forcing devices to "wait in line." The team's E-SSA technology increases bandwidth without needing additional radio spectrum and improves reception success. Initial tests confirmed the system's operation, handling 500 devices simultaneously and receiving up to 30,000 data packets per second.
