Agile Robots and Google DeepMind partner on AI robotics

The German company Agile Robots and Google DeepMind have formed a research partnership to develop the next generation of AI-powered robotic systems. The collaboration aims to integrate advanced AI models into real-world industrial applications and enable adaptable, autonomous robotics solutions by combining Google DeepMind's Gemini Robotics models with Agile Robots' scalable robotics platform. By linking hardware, data capture, model training, and continuous optimization, the systems are intended to become more powerful and flexible, based on an approach where robots can dynamically adapt to changing conditions rather than just executing pre-programmed tasks. Agile Robots, which has already installed over 20,000 robotics solutions worldwide, sees great potential in autonomous production systems that can transform entire industries.
