Würth Elektronik ICS acquires MRS Electronic

Würth Elektronik ICS has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in MRS Holding GmbH, the parent company of MRS Electronic, aiming to strengthen its position in vehicle electronics. The acquisition will combine the expertise of both companies and expand the product portfolio, especially for mobile machinery and commercial vehicles. The transaction includes MRS Electronic's headquarters in Rottweil with around 250 employees and other sites in Croatia, Poland, and Turkey. Following the completion of the acquisition, which is still subject to antitrust approvals, MRS Electronic will become part of the Würth Group but will continue to operate as an independent company within the Würth Elektronik ICS Group
