Lyten plans an industrial hub in Gdańsk

The American technology company Lyten has announced plans to build an industrial hub in Gdańsk. The project aims to combine energy storage production with infrastructure for artificial intelligence and the defense sector. First, Lyten will conduct a feasibility study in Poland, analyzing production needs, potential public-private partnerships, and energy and technical infrastructure requirements. Following this, the hub will be established around the existing Lyten Dwa facility—a battery factory and R&D center in Gdańsk. Lyten is developing this industrial hub concept in Europe, having announced a similar first project in Skellefteå, Sweden, in February. The planned Polish hub will focus on developing technologies such as lithium-sulfur batteries for autonomous systems like drones and robots, ultra-strong 3D printing materials, and concrete additives that reduce carbon footprint
