Lockheed Martin partners with Forte Technologies

Lockheed Martin has signed an agreement with Fortem Technologies for the development and deployment of counter-drone systems. The contract includes the supply of technology designed to protect key sites, including critical infrastructure. Under the agreement, Fortem Technologies will supply TrueView radars and autonomous DroneHunter intercept systems. These solutions will be integrated with the Sanctum mission management software developed by Lockheed Martin. The system is intended to provide multi-layered airspace protection and constant threat monitoring. The integrated platform enables the detection, tracking, and neutralization of unauthorized drones. The combination of radar sensors and autonomous interceptors is designed to improve situational awareness and shorten response times to incidents. "For years, Fortem has proven its counter-drone technology in conflict zones and at some of the world's most prestigious events. (...) This agreement will leverage those same capabilities to protect critical infrastructure," said Jon Gruen, CEO of Fortem Technologies. The new agreement follows a series of previous contracts executed by Fortem Technologies. The company recently secured a multi-million dollar order from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to secure events during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Simultaneously, it is fulfilling a three-year, $18 million contract for the U.S. Army, involving the supply of counter-drone systems and operational support at military bases worldwide.
