The Dutch launch an investigation into Nexperia

The Dutch Enterprise Chamber ruled that there are justified doubts regarding the proper management of Nexperia under its previous supervisory structure. The decision followed a public hearing on January 14, 2026. The ruling pertains to both Nexperia's former management and actions taken by its parent company, Wingtech Technology, since October 2025, prompting the court to order a formal investigation expected to last several months. Nexperia stated it accepts the ruling and will fully cooperate. Interim measures from October 2025 remain in force, including the suspension of Zhang Xuezheng (Wing) from a managerial role at Wingtech and the establishment of an independent board overseeing voting rights for Nexperia shares indirectly controlled by Wingtech.
