Kitron raises 2026 forecast after record quarter

EMS supplier Kitron reported record revenue and operating profit (EBIT) for the fourth quarter, driven by strong demand in the defense and aerospace sectors. The order backlog also reached a record level, providing good visibility for 2026. Quarterly revenue rose to EUR 233.8 million, a 46 percent increase from EUR 160.6 million in the same quarter of 2024, with growth strongest in the defense and aerospace markets. The operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to EUR 22.5 million, compared to EUR 11.8 million the year before, and the EBIT margin increased to 9.6 percent from 7.3 percent. The order backlog at the end of the quarter reached a record EUR 709.3 million, up 50 percent year-on-year and 19 percent from the third quarter of 2025. Profit after tax was EUR 17.2 million, a sharp increase from EUR 4.9 million the previous year. Due to increased demand in the defense sector and data center expansion, Kitron has raised its forecast for 2026, now expecting revenue of EUR 900 million–1.05 billion and an operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 84–108 million
