30 million PLN for QLAB. UW's new quantum technology research center

A team of researchers from the University of Warsaw, led by Prof. Magdalena Stobińska-Moretto, has received 30 million PLN in funding to establish the QLAB Centre for Hybrid Quantum-Classical Information Technologies. The funding was awarded under the International Research Agendas competition by the Foundation for Polish Science, using funds from the European Funds for a Modern Economy program. The new centre will conduct research and development in four interdisciplinary teams, focusing on secure quantum networks, energy-efficient AI algorithms, ultra-sensitive metrology and imaging, and hybrid quantum-classical technologies, all with practical economic applications in mind
