Sungrow plans a production plant in Poland

Sungrow has announced plans to launch its first manufacturing plant in Europe, to be located in Wałbrzych, Lower Silesia. The company stated the facility will cover 65,400 square meters and represent a 230 million euro investment. The plant is expected to be operational within the next 12 months, creating around 400 jobs, and will produce photovoltaic inverters and energy storage systems for the European market, with an annual capacity of up to 20 GW of inverters and 12.5 GWh of storage systems. Sungrow emphasizes this investment aims to strengthen the European supply chain by moving production closer to customers, thereby shortening lead times and improving logistical efficiency in the region
