Sungrow opens production site in Poland

Sungrow has announced it will establish its first European production facility in Wałbrzych, Lower Silesia, in southwestern Poland. The site, representing a €230 million investment and covering 65,400 square meters, is set to begin operations within the next twelve months, creating around 400 jobs. It will manufacture photovoltaic inverters and energy storage systems for the European market, with annual capacities of up to 20 GW for inverters and 12.5 GWh for storage. The facility, equipped with modern production lines and integrated quality assurance, aims to strengthen the European supply chain by moving key manufacturing steps closer to end customers, thereby reducing delivery times and improving logistical efficiency
