Kioxia and SanDisk extend Yokkaichi joint venture until 2034

Storage manufacturers Kioxia and SanDisk have extended their existing joint venture agreement for flash memory production in Yokkaichi, Japan, until 2034. The decision aims to secure long-term collaboration and further investments in NAND flash memory production capacity. The joint venture has operated one of the world's largest flash memory production facilities for many years. By extending the agreement, the continuous expansion and shared use of the manufacturing facilities at the **Yokkaichi** site will be enabled.
