Zollner establishes Shared Service Centre in India

German EMS provider Zollner has announced the establishment of a Shared Service Centre in India. The new unit, operating under the name Zollner Services India Pvt. Ltd. and currently in the setup phase, is located in Pune. According to the company, operational activities at the Pune site will initially begin with engineering services, with plans to gradually expand the range of services to include IT and procurement in further stages. The introduction of individual functions will be aligned with internal requirements, priorities, and process maturity. Zollner aims to use the shared service model to consolidate capacities, better handle order peaks, and enhance the performance of central functions within the corporate group, while also strengthening international collaboration
