DRAMocalypse: Sharp memory price surge in Q1 2026

According to the latest forecast from research firm TrendForce, the global memory market is poised for a historic price surge in Q1 2026. Price forecasts for both DRAM and NAND Flash have been revised upward due to a deepening supply-demand imbalance, driven by sustained AI and data center demand. TrendForce now expects contract prices for conventional DRAM to rise 90–95% quarter-on-quarter, a significant increase from prior estimates of 55–60%. NAND Flash contract prices are also projected to rise 55–60%, up from previous forecasts of 33–38%, with further upward revisions possible
