Scanfil invests 9 mln EUR to expand its Suzhou plant

Scanfil plans to expand its production plant in Suzhou, China. The €9 million investment will increase the facility's size and strengthen the company's production capacity in the Chinese market. The project involves adding 15.7 thousand square meters, bringing the total area to nearly 37 thousand square meters. CEO Christophe Sut explained that the record sales in 2025, particularly in China, drove this growth, and the investment follows Scanfil's normal model of expanding facilities first, then adding machinery based on customer orders. The plan requires official approvals, expected in the first half of 2026, with construction to start soon after. The expanded plant is scheduled to be fully operational by mid-2027, enabling further development and better alignment with customer needs in electronics and system integration
