SK Hynix is analyzing the possibility of creating a specialized investment unit focused on artificial intelligence, reports Reuters. According to media reports, the subsidiary would operate in the United States and manage the AI assets belonging to the SK Group. The information was reported by the "Maeil Business Newspaper," which states that SK plans to establish a U.S. unit to manage the group's foreign AI assets, with a total value reaching 10 trillion won, equivalent to approximately $6.9 billion. In response, SK Hynix emphasized in a statement that no decisions have been made yet and the company remains in the analysis phase, considering various organizational actions, and that the media reports "concern only one of the possible options."
