Gilmour Space secures $145M to boost Australia's space capabilities

Australian space company Gilmour Space Technologies has raised $145 million in private equity to support the next growth phase of Australia's national space capability. The Series E funding round was co-led by the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC) and Hostplus. Other investors include Future Fund, Blackbird, Funds SA, HESTA, NGS Super, Main Sequence, QIC, and Brighter Super. The Gold Coast-based company is building an end-to-end, sovereign space supply chain in Australia—from the development and manufacturing to testing and launching of rockets and satellites. The funds will advance the qualification of its orbital launch vehicle Eris, scale rocket and satellite manufacturing, expand test and launch infrastructure, and grow its workforce
