ZeroPoint Technologies appoints new CEO

ZeroPoint Technologies has appointed Brett Cline as its new CEO. He brings over 20 years of experience in leadership roles within semiconductors, IP, and electronic design automation (EDA) software. The company states that Cline has previously worked on commercial strategy and market introduction at tech companies focused on advanced semiconductor solutions. ZeroPoint develops hardware-accelerated solutions for memory optimization, aiming to reduce memory usage, improve effective bandwidth, and lower energy consumption in computer systems. The technology is particularly targeted at AI applications, both at the edge and in larger data centers. "ZeroPoint addresses some of the fundamental challenges in modern computing, enabling customers to dramatically improve memory capacity and energy efficiency to increase performance and profitability, especially for AI applications. Memory efficiency is more important than ever, and I am convinced ZeroPoint can help system providers manage this challenge," says Brett Cline in a press release. The company's co-founder and CTO, Angelos Arelakis, states that with this appointment, ZeroPoint now intends to intensify collaboration with customers and partners and strengthen its presence in data center, edge, and embedded systems.
