Mycronics makes acquisition in Germany

Mycronic's division Global Technologies has acquired ETZ, a Germany-based company that manufactures test probes. The "PCB Test" business area within the Mycronic division Global Technologies provides equipment for the electrical testing of printed circuit boards. ETZ currently supplies the majority of the test probes to the PCB Test business area. ETZ currently has 34 employees and is based in Seesen, Germany, where production takes place. Net sales in 2025 amounted to just under 4 million euros, with sales to Mycronic accounting for about 85 percent. Prior to the acquisition, Mycronic owned 15 percent of ETZ. "The development and production of test probes used in our machines is a strategic key competence and asset for the PCB Test business area," says Magnus Marthinsson, Sr VP Global Technologies at Mycronic, in a press release. ETZ will become part of the PCB Test business area within the Global Technologies division
