New SMT line operational – ToWe Elektronik ramps up production

The Skövde-based EMS provider ToWe Elektronik has its new SMT line fully operational. This investment is part of the company's ongoing expansion and will strengthen both production capacity and delivery reliability. The new line significantly increases capacity, offering greater flexibility for short series and quick deliveries in the short term, while providing long-term scalability for higher volumes and more complex boards. This step, combined with a recent facility expansion adding 306 square meters of production space, is a key part of ToWe's long-term growth plan as a contract manufacturer in the Skaraborg region, focusing on industrial electronics, control systems, and automotive-related electronics. The company notes increased customer interest in shifting from long international supply chains to Swedish, locally produced electronics. Following a stable and forward-leaning 2025, which also included staff expansion and progress toward ISO certification, expectations are high for continued growth in 2026
