NCBiR awarded 120 million PLN for the development of the MOSKIT anti-tank missile project

The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has awarded funding under the "New technologies in the area of state security and defence" project, PERUN. Ten selected innovative projects received support totalling 260 million PLN. From this sum, over 120 million PLN was allocated for the development of the Moskit guided anti-tank missile programme. Projects could be submitted in 15 thematic areas. The currently selected projects concern the first area: "Development of existing defence technology demonstrators in the technological areas specified in the Priority Research Directions for the Ministry of National Defence for 2021-2035." The selected projects include, among others, the construction of a guided anti-tank missile with autonomous support, a system for launching a manoeuvring aerial target using rocket boosters, and the automation of a road demining system based on artificial intelligence elements. The highest-rated project in the first thematic area of the PERUN call was the "Guided anti-tank missile with autonomous guidance support for engaging targets at a distance," co-financed with 120.5 million PLN. It will be implemented by a consortium consisting of the Military Institute of Armament Technology (Leader), RADMOR S.A., WB Centrum Kompozytów Sp. z o.o., and WB Electronics S.A
