EMS provider Kitron has received a 44 million euro order for the production and delivery of advanced electronic components used in energy storage and grid balancing systems. The order is tied to growing demand from the rapidly expanding data center segment, where large-scale electrification, resilience, and power balancing capabilities are crucial. Kitron states this order expands its existing business and underscores its role as a supplier of complex, highly reliable electronic components supporting the global shift toward more energy-intensive digital infrastructure. Deliveries are set to begin in 2026, with production taking place at Kitron's U.S. facility, facilitating the project due to its proximity to several emerging data center clusters
